Our geography lessons give an overview of the continents using Pleasant Talk of Places. Your child discovers world geography through mapping exercises and literature. They learn how to use an atlas and explore the world’s cultural and climatic diversity.

Look at your atlas (separate purchase - we make some recommendations in your course introduction) and then complete the Map Study Questions and World Geography Notebooking Pages.

· Australia, New Zealand & Oceana

· Antarctica

3. Where is the North Pole?

4. Where is the South Pole

6. Where is the Tropic of Capricorn?

7. Where is the Tropic of Cancer?

8. What is the biggest country? 

9. What shape is the world? Why are maps not round?

10. What is a compass rose?
